focused on the future

After a great deal of
thought, I have made the decision to put any new business for amble on hold.

Apart from amble, I have a full time + job at The
Boeing Company. Along with my career at Boeing, I am intently focused towards finishing my
college degree. The struggle of balancing to keep my passion for photography,
my career, and college has been tough; and as much as I love my camera, it’s
not something I can truly focus my energy on at this time.

If you do have any
photography questions or are seeking advice for whom to choose, I have my
favorites so feel free to ask.

My personal email address is amandamjyork@live.com.

This business venture has taught me a lot and I have so much to be appreciative for.

Thank you for all of
the support these past two years.

Its been an awesome experience.

dana and lil mookie

Dana is one my closest friends and lil mookie is my future nephew (its been decided). Lil mookie is Dana and Cory’s lil one they are expecting in March, since they haven’t chosen a name yet this is what they call him. I prefer Darth Otto… but that would take too long to explain. Cory is super sick right now but we decided since we lucked out and had a beautiful day yesterday, to hit up Lundeen Park at Lake Stevens and get some awesome shots. Fun Fact: FIVE other photographers showed up after we got there… obviously a perfect location.

Marco Simoncelli – January 1987 – October 2011

Rest in peace Marco. I had the pleasure of watching you race and cheering you on. You impressed us all with your riding skills this year, and we all had high hopes for you to one day be the Moto GP champ.

Prayers go out to the Simoncelli family and fans. You were only 24, but you had the world at your fingertips.

senior session – courtney

Courtney is awesome! This girl has amazing art and is so motivated to be an artist. I had such a fun time taking pictures of her and getting to know her more. I’ve known courtney’s mom for quite some time now and she is a dear friend of mine. I’ve watched Courtney grow up the past 7 years and it was truly a privelege of mine to capture her spirit. I wish you all the best Courtney as you set out on your adventure in life.

my garden

September is here, however my garden is still in full bloom. I’m just in love. It has brought me so much happiness this summer. My mom and I planted all the starts she grew from seedlings the day before my birthday in June, and I wanted to share how much it has thrived.

Plants give us oxygen for the lungs and for the soul.  ~Linda Solegato
